Gas South Theatre and convention center are part of the 90-acre lakefront Gas South District campus located just minutes outside of Atlanta. The heart of the venue is the 90,000 square foot Exhibit Hall that incorporates many features designed to aid in the execution of any event. It includes a custom sound and lighting system, 30-foot ceilings, and in-house connections for electricity. The Exhibit Hall can easily be tailored to meet your needs. The convention center also contains 23 versatile meeting rooms and the 21,600 square foot Thomas P. “Tommy” Hughes Grand Ballroom. Theatre seats 708 people. The Theater features a removable orchestra shell, sound absorbing drapes, and a high-tech house speaker system. Design features of the theater stage include a sophisticated lighting and fly system for fast and efficient scenery changes. Backstage includes easy access to loading platforms, production offices, technician rooms, and celebrity and chorus dressing rooms equipped with full-baths and makeup facilities.
